Jason Calder is the pseudonym of John Dunmore, much better known as an academic, historian and publisher than as a writer of political crime novels. In A Wreath for the Springboks he foretells the infamous 1981 Springboks tour of New Zealand with unerring accuracy (although no Springboks were murdered during that tour).George Joseph, disbarred lawyer, became an inexhaustible writer of a wide range of stories and novels including true crime stories, and courtroom dramas such as Trial and Error.
Both McClenaghan’s and Grant’s novels contain high country chases and “Man Alone” adventures.
